On a recent project visit to Dallas County, Iowa; Jack, Russ, and Deane had time to visit the Bob Feller Museum. Feller, a Baseball Hall of Famer, had 3 no-hitters and had a fastball once clocked at 107.9 mph! Fast, like FCG!
The Otero County Economic Development Council has retained FCG to complete a new Strategic Plan for the region. The plan will include targeting, a community assessment, focus group review/training, and strategic recommendations.
FCG is excited about assisting this important military base community. These types of communities are excellent locations for select targets. One of our most successful site selection projects was the location of the ING Financial Services Center in Minot, ND near the Air Force base there. This has become one of ING’s most productive centers in part due to the high quality of workers coming from the base.
The FCG Team along with Harts Group, Inc. were in the Detroit area last week working with Wayne County EDGE on a workforce project. Below are a couple of photos from one of the focus groups.
Deane, Jack, and Paige met with Ann Harts (Principal of HartsGroup, Inc.) and Wayne County Michigan’s Economic Development Growth Engine (EDGE) team in Detroit last week. FCG and HartsGroup are working on a labor project for the EDGE team of Wayne County. This trip to Detroit follows their recent, successful mission with EDGE to the CoreNet Global Summit in Chicago.
