Deane Foote, FCG President/CEO, addressed approximately 60 participants at the World Trade 100 Logistics Development Forum in Sundance, UT. His topic, “Freight/Logistics Costs Are Driving Site Selection Decisions,” covered important areas such as freight modeling, distribution center (DC) trends, key DC location criteria, and a case study of a recent project. Deane drew off of his many years of experience in DC site selection work which includes working with clients such as Wal–Mart, Staples, and MeadWestvaco.
