FCG President and CEO spoke at the Mid-America Economic Development Council (MAEDC) 2012 Competitiveness Conference and Site Selector Forum. The conference was held December 2-4, 2012 at the Intercontinental Hotel in Chicago (2012 Competitiveness Conference and Site Selector Forum). Deane was a part of the Site Selector Roundtables discussion regarding Logistics.
Deane Foote, FCG President/CEO, addressed approximately 60 participants at the World Trade 100 Logistics Development Forum in Sundance, UT. His topic, โFreight/Logistics Costs Are Driving Site Selection Decisions,โ covered important areas such as freight modeling, distribution center (DC) trends, key DC location criteria, and a case study of a recent project. Deane drew off of his many years of experience in DC site selection work which includes working with clients such as Wal–Mart, Staples, and MeadWestvaco.
